The Ella Centre is a warm, welcoming hub in Sydney’s Inner West.

A trusted home away from home for adults living with disability and mature members of our community, including those living with dementia.

Who we support

Adults living with disability

We support adults 18+ with disability through weekday day programs, our YASS weekend social program, and 1:1 support at home and in the community.

Mature members of our community

We provide aged care social day centres for frail-aged people who want company, activities, a good meal and a safe place to spend the day.

People living with dementia

We offer social support programs, including younger onset dementia support, with structured activities, transport and meals in a calm, respectful environment.

Why families choose Ella

A safe, person-centred home away from home

For over 50 years we’ve supported Inner West families. Our staff know participants and carers by name and take the time to understand each person.

Disability and aged/
dementia support under one roof

Ella is one local centre for adults with disability and mature community members, including those living with dementia. For when needs change, or several family members need support.

Door-to-door accessible transport

Our wheelchair-accessible buses provide door-to-door transport for many programs, making it easier for people to attend and giving carers genuine respite.

Weekday and weekend programs

From Monday–Friday day programs to the YASS weekend social program, we offer meaningful activities across the week for people designed to support people to have a meaningful, enjoyable day.
