Aged Care Reform
The aged care system in Australia is being reformed to ensure it is the best possible system, now and into the future. The changes will be implemented
progressively in three phases over 10 years, so our aged care system can be sustainable and affordable. The Ella Centre is also compliant with the
requirements of the Commonwealth Aged Care Quality Assurance Agency after having successfully passed an external audit.
So far, improvements include changes to the Commonwealth Home Support Programme, Home Care Packages, expansion of programs and new supplements.
Aged Care
Australians are living longer and healthier lives and it is important that they have choice about their care.
The home care reforms announced in the 2015-16 Budget will support consumers to receive the services they need. The reforms will also strengthen the aged
care system to provide high quality and more innovative services through increased competition. The Ella centre Aged Care servcies are funded by the
Commonwelath Departmnet of Health throguh the Commonwelath Home Support Programme.
