Community Connections Program
The Ella Centre’s Connections Program is designed to support individuals with a disability, who are in receipt of post school options or community participation funding,
to participate in the local community. Through this involvement the individuals have the opportunity to develop their living skills and enhance their quality of life.
The program is designed to meet the needs of clients with high to very high support needs.The Ella Centre aims to help young adults with a disability maintain living skills and enhance their quality of life by increasing participation and involvement in the community.
Each participant has an Individual Program Plan, in line with person centred planning. Individual goals are developed in conjunction with the individual and, if they choose, their significant others.
Depending on a participant’s individual goal plan, the program focuses on developing self esteem, personal care and other life skills.
The program operates Monday to Friday, from 9am to 3pm.

The Community Connections Program is funded by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care.
